Getting older - Life cycles & biodiversity

To explore different components of an area and estimate the age of each object.
How it works:

Students list eight objects in the immediate area on the basis of their age, listing them from youngest to oldest.

Once everyone has completed this, each participant conducts a small tour to show the rest of the group their chosen features or objects, from youngest to oldest item.

The teacher should help the students interpret the items and correct where mistakes have been made.
