What visitors need
More than 2 million people visit the Dandenong Ranges National Park each year. Many visitors come to the park to enjoy walking, picnicking, horse riding, cycling and relaxing. Not all the picnic areas have all the same facilities. Some are small and peaceful and might only have a few cars and a few picnic tables. The busier, larger picnic areas have parking for 80+ cars, electric BBQs, toilets, picnic shelters, many picnic tables and some have a playground. This different range of facilities allow visitors to choose different experiences.
