DRNP Bird List

There are 130 bird species listed in the national park. Most visitors are likely see the Sulphur-crested Cockatoo, Crimson Rosella, Kookaburra and Red Wattle Bird.

The observant visitor may spot a Superb Lyrebird, Superb Blue Wren or Eastern Yellow Robin.

The Sooty, Barking and Powerful owls, Painted Honeyeater, Great Egret and Grey Goshawk are all listed as Threatened.

The Superb Lyrebird is listed as locally threatened due to feral cats, feral foxes, weeds and roads that cut through their habitat.
